Looping Marble Track Desk Toy

A busy desk can benefit from something that gives your eyes a different rhythm for a moment. This motorized marble machine turns a compact track into a moving display, with a ball following the curved rails and returning through the mechanism. The thick ABS track and shaped base make the route easy to see, so the movement becomes the center of attention rather than a large collection of separate parts. It is a plug-in desk toy, using a motor to keep the cycle going while you watch. Place it where the track has space around it and enjoy the small change of pace between other tasks. The sculptural loop gives it interest as an object even when you are looking at it from the side, making it suitable for a workspace or hobby shelf. It offers a simple visual diversion you can come back to without starting a new project. Give your desk a little motion and your next pause something enjoyable to follow.
