Stainless Steel Meatball Tongs

Shape portions with stainless steel meatball tongs that combine two rounded cups at the working end. The handles bring the cups together around the mixture, helping form a repeated rounded shape while keeping the portion held within the tool. Openings in the cups give the mixture a place to pass through as the two sides meet. The long, scissor-style handles put the grip behind the shaping end, creating a familiar hand action that can be repeated while preparing a tray of portions. Use the tongs with a suitable meatball mixture or another food that can be portioned with this cup shape, working over a bowl or preparation surface to catch any excess. The steel finish keeps the construction straightforward and makes the two halves easy to see when cleaning after use. The larger shaping cup measures approximately 4.8 centimeters across. The two hinged cups meet around the mixture, giving the hands a defined shaping action before the portion is released. Set out your ingredients and bring this simple tool to the next batch of homemade bites.
