Christmas Tree Pet Cape

Let a pet join the Christmas photo with a costume built around one playful idea. This hooded cape uses layered tree-like tiers, colorful pom-poms and a gold-tone star at the hood tip to create a small walking Christmas-tree silhouette. The front ties finish in matching pom-poms, bringing the fastening detail into the design rather than leaving it as an afterthought. Its cape format makes the shape especially clear from the back and sides, where the tiered layers can be seen together. Check the size and suitability for the individual animal, introduce the garment gently, and keep the experience appropriate to their response. The decoration is the costume itself, so there is no need to add extra hanging ornaments to complete the effect. A simple setting near the household decorations can give the photo all the context it needs. Plan a short, relaxed moment and let your companion's own personality remain the center of it. Add a little Christmas-tree character to the family picture.
