The blade is ceramic, sharp & these peel great. Don't listen to the reviews that say it's plastic, most of the white part that rotates is plastic but the cutting edge itself is ceramic. Ceramic is harder than steel & stays sharp for a long time so these should last long.

This is the second one i've bought, may end up getting more in the future at $1 it's a good item to add on to get the discounts on dollar express & they work great.

The quality is good, the blade is made of plastic, fast delivery! I recommend the product and the seller!
