My purchase came with a lithium battery. I liked everything! The wheel on my car inflates quickly, and the pump noise doesn't bother me at all. I'm happy with the purchase; there's no hassle of opening the hood, connecting to the battery, whether it's long enough or not. I haven't figured out the flashlight yet so that it doesn't burn during the day when inflating the tire; at night the function is useful, but during the day it's unnecessary.
