Puma Army Trainer

The history of the German Army Trainer (GAT) is a disputed one. What’s certain though is that it was designed for indoor training of the German armed forces in the 1970s. The rubber sole for traction and an all leather body for comfort made the shoe the perfect fit for indoor training exercises. Later, as so many other pieces, the design found its way from military into fashion.
